François Scolan joined Innovacom in 1991. His major investments include SLP, Micronas, SEZ, Coheris and MEMSCAP, the last four of which are public.

He previously spent four years at SAT, a PBX manufacturer, as a software developer. He is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines of Saint-Etienne and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris, and holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
